A very well written letter. I don't think they will let you walk away though.....the org is far too callous. But who knows, maybe they will surprise us all.
To use some witness-isms...I felt your letter was very uplifting, heartfelt, and a tribute to Jehovah ( the real one - not the fake in NY).

hey gang, i have been searching for a way to dent my hubby's mindset on the theology of jws and came across two books by randy watters that i wondered if any of you had found useful.
"refuting jws" and "the truth will set you free".
if any of you have read these i'd appreciate some feedback from you before ordering them.
I still think one of the best books was Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz.
With me and my husband who is fading away...we don't talk about scriptural things....
I say how can this organisation be lead by Jehovah when they aren't protecting the children.
Silent Lambs has helped me so much to convince him that Jehovah God would not allow children to be harmed by his organisation. To have evil doers protected and the wronged be disfellowshipped and shunned.

I belonged to another discussion bored (misspelled on purpose) and it was so tiresome to read everyone writing swears at eachother and saying the most disgusting things to one another.
I also belonged to a womans xjw support email group once upon a time where the owner was literally taking advantage of people - saying she had no money for this or that, no money for christmas and soliciting funds. A lot of what she said turned out to be a big lie.
I like it that there is a spirit of freedome here, but not so free that people can be truly vile to one another and take advantage of good hearted people who share a common association by experience.
I have come here on days where literally I thought I was going to run away from my life but I was encouraged and supported by people who have never seen me and don't know me from eve. That's why I am still here.

Here is my funeral story....
My best friend in high school's grandmother died. She was one of the coolest ladies I ever had the pleasure to spend time with...taught me how to make lasagna the real Italian way.
She loved baseball and wanted the last song at her funeral to be Take Me Out To The Ballgame....after the song was playing best friends stupid aunt came up to my best friends Mom and said....So now are we taking Mom to the baseball game? Do they have enough seats for us all? Who's carrying the coffin? Best friends mom said .......You are sofa king stupid how did we let you live all these years.

Don't feel too bad a mouse died and went to mouse heaven in my husbands carbeurator for his motorcycle...it was oddly facinating to see its little tiny skeleton in there.
We also found bird skeletons in the wall of our house.....I guess their mommy didn't come back for them. Very sad.
